Letter to Jeremiah A. Goodman [manuscript], 1811 December 31.

Jefferson informs his overseer that the slaves and stock have arrived safely from Poplar Forest and that he will send Dick (a slave) back with a load of goods. He suggests that carts rather than wagons be constructed to haul wheat and tobacco to market in Richmond. Mentions Mr. Darnell.
